PRP Treatment

What is PRP?

PRP, also known as Platelet Rich Plasma, is a natural product created from your own body. A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient and placed in a sterile tube that is spun down in a centrifuge to separate the different components of the blood.
Red and white blood cells are divided from the platelets and the plasma, a clear like fluid. The plasma now contains a higher than the standard number of platelets and is called platelet-rich plasma, or PRP.
Conditions that can be treated with platelet-rich plasma or PRP treatments include:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Neuropathy
  • Tendonitis
  • Running Injuries
  • Trauma or Impact Injuries
  • Chronic Pain
  • Hair Loss
